Riding Lessons
Whatever your goals, we can accommodate you!
Phoenix Farm offers lessons for all ages and skill levels. Our goal is to provide quality instruction that builds a strong foundation and ability from which the student may progress. Whether advancing on to competition, or riding for personal pleasure, we can help you or your child become a better horseman or woman.
Our Approach
We begin with an evaluation lesson for each rider to determine his or her skill level. Afterwards, we discuss your goals and establish a lesson program tailored to your needs.
Our lesson program provides hands-on experience in basic horse care such as grooming and saddling, and builds key riding skills for each student at their own pace. We cover the essentials of safety for both you and the horse.
We offer both private and group lessons, Monday through Saturday, year round. You have the option of riding your own horse or one of 13 quality school horses and ponies at Phoenix Farm. Leases can also be arranged for riders of all ages and abilities.
Private Lessons
During private lessons you will ride for 30-45 minutes. Additionally plan on 1 - 1.5 hours at the barn for grooming and tack care.
Individual Private Lessons: $75
Group Lessons
Our group lessons average 3-5 students and last 1 hour.
Students in group lessons should plan on being at the barn for at least 2 hours for grooming and tack care.
One hour Group Lessons
- 1 lesson per week: $265 mo.
- 2 lessons per week: $495 mo.
- 3 lessons per week: $710 mo.
- Single 1 hour group lesson: $75
